Work hard, play hard

The dream of spending less and less time working without pay cut has become a reality for employees all around the world. The pandemic burnout now referred to as “The Great Resignation” has forced many companies to reconsider the traditional working week.

During April, more than 50 companies around the world integrated four day work weeks while maintaining the same pay. Instead of finding out how long people have been working, these companies have focused on measuring productivity.

Tons of companies use new flexible job opportunities to recruit top technical talent. This trend can be seen mostly in startups, but some companies like Uplift take things one step further by designing their own work plans for employees.
